Over I-ARKS

I-ARKS is the first worldwide women lead innovator platform in space, medicine and nature’s health that tackles global grand challenges and aims to avoid a 6th global extinction of life on earth. The initiative came after a thorough analysis of the causes of the reported biodiversity loss over the last 40 years as well as the exploration of the potential opportunities for veterinary and human medicine and technology to build new and effective solutions and wins. One of I-ARKS’ main objectives is to make an unprecedented and large scale exportable high quality and safe backup of our biodiverse ecosystems. This should  be linked to significant economic benefits by advancing education, innovation, human and veterinary medicine, the reproduction of biodiversity, job creation and the possibility for new sustainable food supply chains. Volunteers and sponsors have prepared the initial phases of the project. These count some of the top expert veterinarians in the field of reproductive biology and technology, competences that are key and central in reaching the objectives of I-ARKS. The network includes various organisations and people with a background in the world of academia, business, law, space as well as communication specialists.
