Over Hy2Market

The Hy2Market project connects regions across Europe in working on various innovations to boost production, transport and use of green hydrogen. Through an interregional approach, diverse companies, including SMEs, are collaborating from regions such as the Northern Netherlands, Upper-Austria, Rhone-Alpes, as well as from the Iberian Peninsula, including Asturias, Aragon, Castilla y Leon and Medió Tejo, Sicily in Italy, Western Macedonia in Greece and Constanta in Romania, fostering a dynamic ecosystem.

In Hy2Market, 38 partners from 10 EU-regions will collaborate. In these regions, market parties and (knowledge) institutions work together on innovations, studies and investments to achieve a robust and innovative hydrogen value chain.

The Hy2Market initiative aims to identify and overcome barriers in production, transport, implementation in industry and mobility and broad integration with standards, legislation and common practices so that hydrogen can play its important role in reaching Fitfor55 and 2050 decarbonization goals. For this a European approach is a must and in Hy2Market the partners will invest heavily in the transfer of their expertise and the knowledge build up during the project.

The partners collaborating in Hy2Market are regional parties from the Netherlands, Italy, Greece, France, Austria, Portugal, Spain and Romania.
