However excellent the functionality of the mouse - we all use it with great ease - most of the time it is too small for the hand while its shape forces hand and fingers in an unnatural gripping position. It lacks comfort. Therefore a group of mechanical engineers re-designed the mouse, and invented the HandshoeMouse. This innovative computer mouse, developed together with the Dutch Erasmus MC (Erasmus University Hospital Rotterdam, the Netherlands), reduces complaints as well as the risk of Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI). This mouse prevents over exertion of certain muscles in arms and hands, a major source of NSAH (Neck, Shoulders, Arms and Hands complaints). Years of research have resulted in a new mouse concept which has been patented while the design has been registered. The Hippus HandShoeMouse is available for the right hand as well as for the left. Therefore we can provide you with a properly fitting mouse.
