Hegro has been a leading manufacturer of professional frying systems since 1983. From its headquarters in Woerden, Hegro supplies not only the Dutch home market but also a large part of the European market. Belgium — the ultimate frying country — is currently one of its largest sales regions.

In 1998, Hegro was the first company in the world to introduce a high-efficiency frying system, developed and patented in-house. In addition to its high frying capacity, the system delivered significant savings on gas and frying oil. Under the Ducate banner, Hegro has its own installation and service department with nationwide coverage.
