Over Heat Matrix

HeatMatrix was founded in 2008 as a spin-off from Hexion(former Shell Chemicals) Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The company focusses on industrial waste heat recovery from flue gasses that contain acids or fouling elements. HeatMatrix has developed the proprietary technology for a robust honeycomb structured polymer heat exchanger. The manufactured products of HeatMatrix all show an excellent performance under harsh conditions of corrosive and fouling flue gas and realize energy savings for its clients of over 5% with attractive payback times. Together with its customers HeatMatrix implements projects in Europe. Applications are heat recovery around boilers, ovens, furnaces and dryers. All activities are coordinated from the head office located in Geldermalsen, The Netherlands.
