Over HealthScapes

Through our personal experiences and professional expertise, we do research and share knowledge about the design spaces for health, care and cure, or HealthScapes. Healthscapes are the places where health is created; the everyday spaces, where we live, work, learn and play, that influence human health and wellbeing.

As HealthScapes we focus on the relation between the design of HealthScapes and health-related outcomes for people and the planet. We do design research and education combined with science communication to improve the design of homes, schools, healthcare, and workplaces with attention to health for people and the planet. We thereby aim to prevent disease, increase quality of life and equity, and reduce the burden on healthcare.
