The goal of this foundation is to help accomplish Sustainable Development Goal 3: to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. To ensure healthy lives for all people, having access to a health workforce is fundamental. However, this is not a matter of course in rural areas. Rural healthcare facilities should not only be accessible and have an adequately sized workforce. This workforce should also be able to meet the needs of the community. This includes having a proper educational background and being well-trained and that is exactly what the health workforce foundation can offer rural health facilities with your help!
