Over Han Litz Group

Han Litz Group is a band inspired by and playing different styles of jazz, funk, brazilian samba and bossanova. The flute plays an important role in their music, bandleader Han Litz being a jazz crossover musician playing flute, alto flute and bass flute. The music of the albums has been composed by the leader himself. Their debut album's release was in spring 2012, playing a concert at the famous Paradiso in Amsterdam. Until 2014 the group held six bandmembers: Han Litz on flute, Thijs Cuppen on piano and melodica, Folker Tettero on guitar, Kris Rietveld on vocals, Eric Calmes on bass and Udo Demandt on drums. After a second album(remixes) in 2014, cooperating with mostly dutch dj/producers, the group has had some personell changes and currently works on composing, arranging etc. their third album. Epiphany by Han Litz Group will be released through Flyin' High Records. Han Litz is both the creative and executive producer. The brands 'Han Litz Group' and the album 'Epiphany' are part of the dutch music company Han Litz Produkties which has been owned by flutist Han Litz since the beginning.
