Globonaut is an open storytelling platform where a crew of curious explorers share their ways of seeing the world. Culture, nature, and travel are our central themes. We always aim to dig a little deeper and tell the stories that often go unnoticed, no matter how big or small.

The platform was inspired by a desire to create an open platform and community where anyone can share their stories about the world around us. But what does it mean to be a ‘Globonaut’? Well, it’s all about the mindset. Here’s a definition (that we totally made up):

Globonaut (ɡləʊbənɔːt), noun: 1. inquisitive earthling that examines one’s time and place in the world; 2. curious explorer of the Earth’s natural and cultural environments.

What are our main values? * Offering a safe space across borders to collaborate as a crew of curious explorers from around the world. * Freedom to develop creative content skills like writing, photography, video, and editing. * Shedding light on underexposed topics within the cultural world, including the travel industry. * Telling the stories that can make a difference in somebody’s world view, no matter how big or small. * Providing a healthy balance of diverse genres with a mix of in-depth and light-hearted content.
