Over Global Geo Health Data Center

Utrecht University and the University Medical Center Utrecht are dedicated to advance global research on personal environmental exposure. To establish scientific progress, we seek to interconnect data in extremely large cohort studies on ‘health’, ‘lifestyles’ and ‘environments’.

Innovating research In support of exposome research, we have developed the Global Geo Health Data Center, GGHDC in short. With the infrastructure, scientists gain perfect tools for enriching their geo-health data sets. A stepping stone to innovative health research.

Supporting partners A team of geo experts, epidemiologists and data scientists deliver services related to the development, enhancement and enrichment of geo-health data sets. This includes spatial data analysis to calculate personal exposures for individuals using their location data.

It is our aim to serve healthcare scientists and professionals, spatial planners, architects, policymakers, entrepreneurs and citizens at large with next level insights on personal exposure and its impact on health.
