Geotech International B.V., based in Haarlem, The Netherlands, is a dynamic company focusing on the development, production and distribution of special effect pigments.

The owners family has a background in the industry with over 40 years of experience. Mr. Theo Polman started selling natural pearlescent pigments made out of fish scales in the late 70’s. Troughout the 80’s GEOTECH became a well-known supplier for glitter flakes being the first company who introduced glitter into the cosmetic industry.

Since 1999 the company is managed by the third generation, Ms. Madelon Polman and Mr. Harold van Haren. They increased the product portfolio with new innovative special effect pigments and established a global sales network.

In 2003 GEOTECH opened a fully equipped laboratory for quality control and technical support to increase the level of service for its customers.

In 2016 GEOTECH acquired Paillettes et Pigments Sarl (PEP), a French distributor of special effect pigments. After the integration the PEP office remained open and became a GEOTECH sales office to support the French market.

In 2018 GEOTECH moved into a new 2.700 m2 facility at the Emrikweg in Haarlem, the Netherlands. The total surface area was extended more than twice and a storage capacity of 200 mt special effect pigments was created to be prepared for the future.
