FutureWater is a global research and consulting organization that drives innovation by combining scientific research with practical solutions for water management. We focus on key challenges such as water for food, irrigation, water scarcity and excess, climate adaptation, and integrated river basin management. Our expertise lies in advanced quantitative methods, including simulation models, geographic information systems, and satellite observations, providing valuable insights to enhance water security and resilience.

Beyond consultancy and research, we develop innovative, science-based solutions to tackle today’s and tomorrow’s water challenges. We work closely with governments, international organizations, and local partners to implement effective, tailored strategies. With offices in Wageningen (Netherlands) and Cartagena (Spain), we have a strong international presence. When required by a project, we establish satellite offices, as we have done in the past in London (UK), Maputo (Mozambique), Meru (Kenya), and Phnom Penh (Cambodia).

Our approach combines global expertise with local engagement. By actively collaborating with local organizations, governments, and experts and maintaining a strong on-the-ground presence, we ensure effective project coordination and adaptability to changing conditions.
