Over Fotograafmans

Shot with passion! That's what I do. I'm Debbie Smetsers-Graafmans, the face behind Fotograafmans. At the time, my dad made a play on words : "Photographer plus Graafmans is Fotograafmans and he was totally lying about it himself." When I had to come up with a name, I couldn't get away from it. That's how Fotograafmans came to be. After working for a boss for a while, I decided to start for myself in 2021 and am now a full-time photographer. In daily life, I am a mother of 2 beautiful children and co-owner of Drum Loss. My biggest passion light in photography and in being creative. I get really happy when I come up with a great concept and work it out from a to z. I am a perfectionist and am therefore never really 100% satisfied.
