As a pioneer of St. Maarten’s marine industry, FKG Marine Rigging & Fabricating NV first opened its doors in a 20-foot container in 1984.

Today, FKG is the technical reference in the Caribbean for all rigging works, metal fabrication and hydraulics. With over 40 employees, purpose build modern facilities and a deep-water pier, it is proud to provide the highest level of service to its international client base.

Under new ownership and managements since 2017, Chris Marshall and Norina Edelman continue to build on FKG’s existing foundation, bringing in new technologies and significant technical expertise.

As of December 2019, FKG became Rig Pro’s exclusive Caribbean partner. RigPro is the authorized service provider for Southern Spars, Hall Spars, Future Fibres, Marten Spars, Nordic Masts & Omo-hundro. It is the only truly global rigging service provider with an unparalleled ability to deliver engi-neered solutions on any type of rig and rigging. FKG, in collaboration with its sister company IMM, has also expanded its services including painting, teak decking and comprehensive project manage-ment services.
