Eveleens Workstyles is a design bureau owned by Wietske Eveleens (MSc), a self employed workdesigner in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Her background is system ergonomic design, new ways of working and office innovation. She is a pioneer in the development of ‘pretty productive flexible knowledge work’. A challenge formulated by Peter Drucker (1909 – 2005) inspires her: In the 20th century the productivity of manual work in factories has grown fifty-fold. The challenge in the 21th century is to create a similar growth in the productivity of knowledge work.

Eveleens Workstyles supports the creation of ‘pretty productive 21st work’, tailor made. The character of work has changed substantially the last decades. Simple manual work is being replaced by complex brainwork. The corporate website workstyles.nl presents ‘the big picture’, including feasible goals and results. This English site presents basic principles and concepts for transformation, transition, theory and references. The focus is on the development and re-balancing of modern work bij people. This includes reorganisation of tasks and learning to adapt and anticipate. It also enhances a critical look on the application and use of technology and locations.
