The designs delivered by Organic Sense Mechanics are characterized by:

1. Created with heart and soul We love technology since birth and are fascinated by the interaction between a machine and its surrounding. With our designs, we try to make the world a better place to live for everyone.

2. Created with common sense Before starting the design work, we analyze the functionalities. Also we think about what is really necessary and what are the minimum requirements. And of course, we need to respect the laws of nature

3. A combination of new ideas with proven technology We have an extended knowledge of past and present technical systems and solutions. Together with a large portion of creativity, we can make a good balance between new ideas with proven technology.

4. Excel in simplicity We strive to make the designs as simple as possible. This is done by regularly look at our work with an helicopter view. This gives a lot of benefits in detail engineering, production, operation and maintenance.

5. First time right We are used to work on big equipment in the offshore industry, where there is no time and possibilities to make a prototype. The equipment has to work properly at the first time it is produced and applied. This is achieved by proper visualizations and extensive checks of the design.

6. Cost effective The designs of Organic Sense Mechanics are cost effective by applying principles like: • Reduce the number of connections like welds, bolt, pins, etc. • Choose components that are fit for purpose and not oversized • Reduce number of motions, drives, sensors and other vulnerable equipment This has to fit within limitations of weight, dimensions and others.

7. Sustainability Sustainability can be enlarged by reusing of existing equipment, materials (steel plates, beams, etc), components (gearboxes, bearings, hydraulic parts, motors), etc. makes the design more sustainable. The design work is more challenging, but we like to do this for a better world.
