Over European Community Service
We envision a European Community Service applying to all young Europeans as part of their regular education as the crucial instrument to foster mutual understanding and contribute to the development of a common European identity among Europe's citizens.
The idea for the European Community Service first came up in 2017 during the European Youth Convention, where representatives from youth NGOs in Europe met in order to draft a new European Constitution. One year later, the initiative was founded with the goal to spark the political debate and introduce the European Community Service.
