The Business in Space Growth Network (BSGN) is an ESA initiative designed to accelerate the development and commercialisation of innovative, industry‑driven solutions enabled by space. We support companies exploring the unique advantages of microgravity in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and the potential of in‑situ resource utilisation (ISRU) across the emerging lunar space resources value chain.

Our mission is to stimulate new markets by empowering both supply‑ and demand‑side actors along the full value chain. BSGN helps companies advance research, applications, and services enabled by automated and crewed platforms in LEO, as well as capabilities supporting the growing lunar economy.

Through dedicated community events, the BSGN connects space and non‑space industry leaders, academia, investors, and institutional partners—sparking collaboration and innovation. Our Industry Accelerators provide access to technical expertise, commercial maturation support, and ESA co‑funding to help transform early‑stage concepts into credible demonstrations and market‑ready solutions.

BSGN focuses on four key market segments: Microgravity‑enabled and in‑orbit markets: Life Sciences (Health, Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, Medtech) ; Advanced Materials & In‑Space Manufacturing; Agri‑Food Lunar exploration markets: Space Resources
