ENGAGEMENT ARTS NL is an artist-led organization addressing gender-based violence, sexism, discrimination and abuse of power in the Dutch arts and design field. The NGO was founded out of the urgency to establish a safe space and support individuals and communities facing transgressive behavior, discrimination and/or unfair practices in the Dutch art field. We actively engage with institutions, communities, policymakers, law firms and similar organizations to create safer and more inclusive working environments through research contribution, training and proposals on policy development. The Stichting has ANBI status, and it is a member of Kunst 92.
