Russia has forcibly transferred thousands of Ukrainian children. We work with their families to identify them, locate them and bring them home — 50 returned so far. 60+ more ready to be reunited with their families.

Emile Foundation locates, secures the release of, and safely returns Ukrainian children unlawfully deported to the temporarily occupied territories or the Russian Federation. And after the return, we stay: financial, legal, medical and psychological support helps reunited families rebuild their lives.

We work from our offices in The Hague and Kyiv through direct casework and humanitarian diplomacy — raising individual cases at the highest levels, from private audiences with faith leaders to international institutions. Among them: the children taken from the Oleshky Specialised Boarding School, whose cases we have documented and pursued one by one.

Founded in 2011 in the Netherlands, we have supported vulnerable children in Kenya, Nepal, Morocco, Tanzania, Romania and beyond. Today, our urgent priority is Ukraine.
