Background I am an accomplished leader in worldwide retail concept implementation and retail establishment having worked for Inter IKEA Systems (owner of the IKEA Concept), where: • I led worldwide IKEA Concept reviews (how is the IKEA Concept understood and worked with in touch points) as well as the training and certification of self-assessors • I led the development and rolling out of the global IKEA Store Establishment process • I led the development and implementation of the global IKEA Retail Approval methodology (new retail touch point certification) • I mentored IKEA franchisees in establishing new countries and first stores in South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Egypt and Dominican Republic as well as existing markets
