Over Dutch Union for Progressive Judaism
The Dutch Union for Progressive Judaism is the organization in which all Progressive Jewish congregations have been united. As from the establishment in 1931, the Union anno 2008 have grown to nine congregations in Amsterdam, Brabant, The Hague, Flevoland, Gelderland, Noord-Nederland, Rotterdam, Twente and Utrecht. We have at this moment approximately 3700 members. The Union represents those congregations rurally and internationally (in the World Union for Progressive Judaism). Beside the nine congregations belongs to the Union the foundation Robert A.Levisson, foundation Sja’ar and the foundation “Levend Joods Geloof” and the associated organisations: the federation of Progressive Jewish women, ARZA-Nederland and the youth organisation Netzer-Holland.
