Discover Disq: your new neighborhood discount card! In the fall of 2023, our journey began at the University of Amsterdam, as a group of three students immersed in the entrepreneurship minor. We wanted to build a business that had a positive impact on our community and city as a whole. Inspired by the shifting attitudes among locals of what Amsterdam should be, we set out with a dual purpose: to empower consumers the opportunity to shop at local businesses while strengthening communities supporting our neighbors here in Amsterdam. Our mission is to make shopping at Amsterdam's small businesses more affordable and accessible for consumers. The Disq Discount Card is our tool to achieve this, offering valuable discounts that encourage residents and visitors to explore and support the diverse local businesses that are the heartbeat of our communities. We are dedicated to fostering a symbiotic relationship between consumers and small businesses, ensuring that shopping locally is not only a choice but an attractive and viable option for all.
