The Dispuut Water and Environment was officially founded on May 22, 1980, by honorary member Ir. Hans Hartong. It is the society for students of the Department of Water Management and Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, TU Delft and presently counts more than 300 members (students and supporters).

The Dispuut is managed by seven board members who oversee its activities and ensure effective communication between students, staff, and partners. The current 77th Board includes:
