Dirk Witte B.V. is a music-instruments shop run by Barry Witte, who's grand father H.J. Witte Sr. laid the establishment in 1939 in the old city of Amsterdam. In that year, it was merely an accordion shop at the Sarphatipark in Amsterdam under the name Dirk Witte. As the times changed, the store also changed, with the range expanding and being adapted to the needs of the musician. Eventually it started to get globally recognized for its unique collection of vintage guitars, boutique effect pedals, diverse web-shop, exchange/trade-in deals, and expert sales staff.

Now, Dirk Witte Music Store is one of the leading music stores in the Netherlands and in Europe.
