The Digital Factory for Composites is a facility for open and cross-sectoral innovation in the business of Digital Manufacturing and composites.

In the DFC, new technology for automation and digital production for composites is being developed and demonstrated. The DFC has been integrated with the high-quality composites factory of Airborne, the state-of-the-art technology of Siemens and the world leading robotics of KUKA.

The Fieldlab is located in the Technology Park Ypenburg, the European hub for smart industry companies. In addition, DFC is part of the SMITZH program for smart manufacturing in Zuid-Holland.
