Our research focuses on the advances of biomaterials that improve human health and health care in different fields. Examples of bio-engineering are to be found throughout healthcare, from diagnosis and analysis to treatment and recovery in implantable medical devices, such as pacemakers and artificial hips, and more futuristic technologies such as stem cell engineering, or the 3D-bioprinting of biological organs.
