Den Haan Rotterdam is a family company established in 1922. Starting as a small tinsmith, it has evolved into a globally renowned producer of navigation lights, searchlights, air horns and a wide range of nautical lamps made from copper and brass. By introducing products with advanced LED-technology, DHR has safeguarded a visibly safe future for marine vessels in all-weather condition.

Den Haan Rotterdam (DHR) started as a small tinsmith, but has evolved to a world-wide known developer and manufacturer of navigation lights, marine searchlights and acoustic signalling equipment. On top of this, DHR designs and produces a wide range of decorative nautical lamps made from copper, brass and stainless steel. The origin of these products can be traced back to the nautical lighting equipment used in the early days.

While existing over 95 years, DHR has build a reputation of being a source of knowledge and company with qualitative products. By having all processes under one roof, from development to final assembly, we are able to meet the highest quality standards in industry.

DHR puts a lot of energy in upgrading and enhancing the quality, performance and satisfaction of their product range. To remain a leading company in the niche sector of maritime signalling equipment, a lot of effort is put into the development of new products.
