Over De Floriant

De Floriant is a primary school in Zoetermeer where challenging learning together is at the heart of what we do. We provide education that challenges, connects and stimulates development. From a safe and respectful foundation, we work on strong basic skills, broad personal development and ownership in learning.

At De Floriant, we believe that every child can grow when education connects with their talents, possibilities and educational needs. That is why we focus on language, reading, mathematics, citizenship, executive functions and inquiry-based learning.

Our school also has a strong profile in gifted education and cognitive challenge. We offer enrichment and deepening within the classroom and provide additional opportunities for pupils who need more challenge. At the same time, we believe it is important that children not only gain knowledge, but also learn to collaborate, persevere, reflect and take responsibility.

As a team, we continue to develop and improve. We work purposefully on the quality of our education, learn with and from each other and actively connect with parents, our childcare partner Junis and other partners involved in the development of the child.

De Floriant is a school where children are encouraged to grow, explore, practise and learn from mistakes. A place where learning is meaningful and where we build the future together.
