The iconic building at Lange Houtstraat 9 has been a city icon in the hospitality industry in The Hague for 20 years under the name Danzig. For the past 8 years, M. Meininger owned the Danzig in the middle of the center. A hamburger shop during the day and 18+ club during the weekends. Everyone in The Hague knows Danzig and probably danced on the dance floor at some point. One thing we know for sure, our building is part of The Hague's history.

Mid-March, the beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak in the Netherlands, all hospitality establishments were closed and it became clear that because of covid, nightlife will probably not return anytime soon. It was that exact moment for the owner to turn the tables around and start a classy restaurant with a 25+ nightclub as you see them in Barcelona, Madrid, New York, etc. International allure and an above and beyond vibe where the experience blows your mind over and over again.

We are a French-Asian restaurant with a mesmerising interior where we take care of our guests five days a week with the perfect service, delicious wine from the old and the new world, insane cocktails and the best food, the moment you step foot on our doorstep. It’s a warm welcome to D Cuisine.

Our French-Asian cuisine is a mix between exceptional flavors and ingredients from all over Asia. But also, a classic French cuisine where we use all the cooking techniques and combine the two. We work with a perfect balance of flavours. It’s different, tasty, exciting and always 100% homemade and daily fresh. We take care of our products.
