Wibo Koole is an executive coach, leadership expert, keynote speaker and author, and meditation teacher. The big challenge for leaders is to make their organizations truly of value to society. In times – such as now – of complex and profound transformations that create great uncertainties, this is not easy. To be able to give direction to this, leaders must show more than substantive knowledge and extensive management competencies. They must also fully contribute their personal, human qualities. As an executive coach, he helps leaders, and their teams discover how they can be effective in this. In his work he builds on his long-standing experience as a management consultant in strategy and change management, culture change and leadership development, in a wide range of organizations, both corporate and social. He wrote bestsellers on leadership and culture change, emphasizing teamwork at various levels. In addition, he has extensive experience as chairman of (supervisory) boards. He regularly gives lectures on conscious leadership and the development of highly productive but less stressful and healthy organizations. His inspirations come from Greek and contemporary philosophy, Buddhist psychology, neuroscience and psychoanalysis, organizational science and leadership studies, political theory, and art. Next to these activities, he is a meditation teacher, helping people to gain insight into thinking and feeling, consciousness and reactivity. By detaching oneself from reactive patterns – in the form of preconceived opinions, worries and fixed ways of thinking – space is created for autonomy and inner freedom to shape 'the good life'. Wibo Koole graduated cum laude in political science at the University of Amsterdam, completed the Advanced Management Program at the Wharton Business School, was trained as a management consultant at MIT’s Presencing Institute. He is a transformational coach and completed his education as a meditation teacher at Bodhi College.
