Over COVID-19 Balkans

WHAT Our main aim is to communicate reliable and unbiased scientific information and debunk myths surrounding COVID-19 in a simple and straightforward way. We want to provide up-to-date evidence and data on COVID-19, in your native language, that will help you understand the reasoning for the public health recommendations set in your country. We want to offer data-driven feedback to help our governments and institutions improve their response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

WHY The virus knows no borders, nationalities, religions or politics, so we must fight together. We believe that a clear understanding and surveillance of COVID-19 pandemic will defuse fear and panic, leading to better acceptance and compliance with public health measures and ultimately result in less unnecessary deaths.

WHO We are a group of epidemiologists, medical doctors, scientists, information technology experts and other highly skilled experts from the Western Balkans (Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Albania). We are a self-organized, apolitical group of volunteers, mostly living in diaspora.
