The Open Access Library is an open access database that contains over one million easily accessible and free scientific research papers.

Publicly funded research should be publicly available. We believe that knowledge sharing is a prerequisite for both the advancement of science and for maximizing its contribution to society.

Towards this aim, the Open Access Library offers scientific publications for free: No log-in, no price tag.

The Open Access Library is enabled by the United Academics Foundation (www.ua-foundation.org), a supporter of the Open Access Movement. Along with the UA Magazine, they are part of a bigger effort: to connect science and society and create a world where scientific knowledge is accessible for all to use and build upon.

We give publicly funded research back to you, by removing paywalls and ensuring that anyone, anywhere, regardless of their circumstances has access to the information and knowledge they need.
