Over Circular Energy BV

Circular Energy B.V. has ceased trading - unfortunately. Reason is the lack of investor appetite. The big plan was to produce clean power from natural gas. The gas would be produced from a North Sea field, it would be turned into electrical power using conventional gas turbines and the power would be sold to the Netherlands grid. A tie-in with a wind farm would ensure a coordinated power profile, complementing power from offshore wind. The CO2 emissions from the gas turbines would be captured and injected into the very field from which the natural gas is produced, thus maintaining reservoir pressure and preventing subsidence of the seabed.
