Over Circular Delft

Circular Delft is a student-led initiative committed to facilitating opportunities to educate and inform the student community to create better products & services through a sustainable & circular design approach.

Our aim is to introduce students to circular design, thereby “planting a seed in their mind”. To inspire them to design sustainable products. To change the simplistic perception of circular design and make them realise that it is an entirely different approach to designing.

At the same time, we want to broaden and deepen the already existing knowledge of students.

We believe this will be of great value not only to the area of design but also to the world.

How do we do this? By organizing lunch lectures, symposia, design activities, workshops, IDE Academy cases, case studies with companies, and others.

We want to be an intermediary between students, companies, research groups and the government within The Netherlands and Europe.

We facilitate events, projects, seminars, and other activities to empower students to become aware of and get actively involved in a better design for a sustainable future.

We aim toward making TU Delft a Dutch circular hotspot.
