The CharlisMichael Foundation is a Dutch (ANBI) status hybrid social enterprise based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The foundation was founded in 2019 with a mission to increase the fashion industry's sustainability efforts through fashion circularity.

Leading European fashion companies burn millions of tonnes of unsold new clothes (deadstock) each year to avoid brand depreciation. The foundation forms fashion sustainability partnerships with European fashion brands and manufacturers, through which deadstock is purchased/donated and resold under the 2ndCHANCES™ off-price fashion brand.

2ndCHANCES DSS Events (Social Accountability) Through 2ndCHANCES DSS Events, the CharlisMichael Foundation forms partnerships with local social responsibility groups in the areas of diversity and inclusion. The DSS stands for diversity, sustainability, and society.

Ubuntu Business Strategies The foundation ubuntu business strategy includes a diversity employment policy as well as a focus on addressing current social issues and opening social dialogue in the communities where we operate.
