Cats Flexible Packaging BV, based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and Hänsel Flexible Packaging GmbH, based in Freital, Germany, each with over 100 years’ experience in the development, production and sale of packaging materials in the confectionery and bakery markets, came together in 2001 to be the leading waxed paper packaging manufacturers in Europe. Cats and Hänsel are the number one suppliers of waxed paper and waxed laminates in Europe, offering a range of packaging products for the confectionery, bakery and food industries to the European, American and Asian markets. At Cats and Hänsel, we are particularly renowned for our expertise in specialist proprietary products including Twist Wrap, Fold Wrap and Bread Wrap. We have a strong proven track record in twist packaging in paper, aluminium strip and plastic films. Cats and Hänsel key technologies include laminating, lacquering and coating technologies complemented by gravure and flexographic printing and multiple finishing capabilities.
