The Real Taste began its journey in 2017 with the founding of CasaRon by Guillermo Klijnoot — born from a deep love for the vibrant culture and spirit of Cuba. Inspired by his first visit to the island, Guillermo was determined to share Cuba’s finest rum with the world, leading to a portfolio that included Ron Perla del Norte, Ron Cubay, and the legendary Isla del Tesoro.

As our passion for premium spirits grew, so did our vision. We expanded beyond rum, embracing the rich heritage of other world-class spirits such as Casa Don Ramón’s exceptional tequila and mezcal. This evolution marked the beginning of a new chapter—CasaRon B.V. introduced The Real Taste, a brand dedicated to authenticity, quality, and diversity. The Real Taste continues to carry a tribute to Cuba in its logo, but today, the mission has grown: to share only the finest spirits the world has to offer.

The portfolio now also includes the smooth elegance of Beneluxe Vodka, the heritage-rich excellence of Titanic Distillers’ premium Irish whiskey, and the refined botanicals of Ghino.

What ties all these spirits together is a commitment to quality, character, and storytelling. Every bottle represents not just a premium product, but a piece of heritage and craftsmanship from its place of origin.
