Over Bygg Architecture AND Design

Bygg Architecture & Design is a creative architecture and design studio based in Eindhoven.

We work across public space, housing, interiors, scenography and objects. Our projects bring together spatial imagination, material reuse, public life and nature-forward thinking.

From urban transformations and public buildings to furniture, lighting and temporary structures, we design environments that are social, circular and adaptable over time.

Our work often starts from existing places: their materials, communities, histories, constraints and future possibilities. We approach each project through dialogue, research, making and collaboration.

Bygg started from the development of Plug-in-City in Eindhoven: a self-built city in motion and a long-term testing ground for circular, collective and temporary architecture. This spirit still shapes the way we work today.

We collaborate with makers, designers, researchers, municipalities, developers and cultural organisations to create spaces that can change, be reused, and remain meaningful over time.
