Bart is a senior professional and executive (former COO/CFO) with extensive Transformation, integration and separation experience, gained through a combination of consulting and Executive line roles.

Bart started his consulting career in 1997 at Andersen Consulting, later Accenture, as strategy and process consultant, before joining Siemens where he expanded Siemens Business Services in the Netherlands. In 2006 he moved to KPMG, where he worked as Financial advisor at Associate Director level, building their Integration & Separation Practice. In 2012 he became a board member in the KPMG EMA Board to lead internal Strategy and Integration projects and subsequently headed the demerger and carve-out of the European merged member firms within KPMG, followed by a COO role for KPMG Advisory in the Netherlands.

Upon leaving in 2016, Bart took a role as CFO and COO at TMF Group, where he was responsible for a P&L of €135m and led the operations in the BeNeLux. He designed and led a comprehensive financial improvement plan, led many acquisitions and supported the firm in the preparation of the IPO process.

Since 2018 he works as independent consultant. He combines deep knowledge of transformation, integration, carve-outs and separation programmes with a strong focuson value creation, from his previous CFO roles and experience at KPMG. Bart demonstrates a strong combination of leadership and empowerment with a hands-on and pragmatic approach, while fostering a highly collaborative culture.
