We started Bright Octopus with a clear vision.

End-users should be serviced professionally and unambiguously from one single service entry point. All complexity and dependencies behind this service point should be invisible. The service should coherently cover all supporting functions like IT, Facility management, HR etcetera. Bringing brightness to the end-user. IT out of the cloud almost sound like a fairy tale. Less hassle; skilled specialists take care of the complexity and high availability of their island of services. But a lot of companies don’t realize that this implies that the number of suppliers they have to manage rapidly grows, while their IT team will shrink in the same pace. With our tentacles we’d like to address the challenge to manage more suppliers with fewer staff. Sticking it all together to one service landscape and a bright, unambiguous process. Leading to better insights, a better performance and an excellent end-user experience.

We are diven by curiosity, constant improvement and thrive in situations where we can solve challenges with pure logic and creativity. We always strive to eliminate waste and inefficiency without losing sight of people. We can work through seemingly impossible scenarios, especially when others are skeptical. With our pragmatic and empathic leadership style we get the best out of tools, people and organizations. Based on 20 year experience we’ve created our own Service Operating Model “One” which helps us to create a data driven service organization; shared service centers, enterprise service management based on continual service improvement (CSI).

We’ve been in the services driver seat ourselves as IT managers within several companies. We have the experience in initiating and driving change. Rebuilding IT from incident resolvers towards professional, high available and predictable solutions. We get things done. We use our extended experience to help companies to obtain the service with a smile award!
