Blue Artichoke Films, founded by director Jennifer Lyon Bell, is dedicated to making artistic, creative erotic films that portray sexuality in an emotionally realistic way.

Blue Artichoke's erotic fiction films and documentaries which bridge the gap between porn and art film. Their award-winning films screen at international festivals, cinemas, and museums in America, Europe, Japan, and South America, attracting Best Film prizes from both mainstream film festivals and adult festivals. Jennifer's body of work was recently honored with the European Feminist Porn Award, and her most recent film, the trilogy Silver Shoes, was shortlisted for the Netherlands Scientific Institute of Sexologists’ “Sex And Media Prize” -- the only erotic/pornographic film to ever be nominated. Their new virtual reality 3D 360° immersive experience film Second Date was nominated for the VRX Award at the Raindance Film Festival (London) at its World Premiere.

Blue Artichoke Films also creates erotic film programs, exhibitions, talks and workshops. Jennifer is an engaging and inspirational speaker dedicated to illuminating the rich and diverse world of erotic film for her audiences. She creates cinematic experiences that are not only truly entertaining, but thought-provoking, affirming, and often educational. She also regularly writes for arts magazines and academia, and organizes fun sexy parties and events where Blue Artichoke viewers would feel at home.
