About BERLUX Lighting Design (BXLD)

Founded in 1993 by renowned lighting designer Berry van Egten, BERLUX Lighting Design (BXLD) excels in innovative lighting solutions for interior and exterior spaces, including daylight applications. In 2012 lighting designer Ellen Goulmy joined our studio as co-owner.

Our expertise spans concept development, technical planning, architectural integration, energy efficiency, and compliance with standards.

We collaborate closely with architects and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and high-quality outcomes.

Our diverse clientele includes entrepreneurs, governments, healthcare institutions, museums, and manufacturers, with projects primarily in the Netherlands, Europe, and the Emirates.

We are passionate lighting artists, participating in events like the Amsterdam Light Festival and Glow.

Additionally, through the Lighting Design Academy, we educate over 500 professionals annually, offering courses, writing educational materials, and giving lectures.

Berry van Egten, our founder, is a certified European Lighting Expert and a passionate advocate for dark sky practices. He is a member of the IALD, SLL, and IES.

Our specializations include architectural lighting design, lighting education, Dialux EVO training, workshop leadership, consultancy, and keynote speaking.

At BXLD, we transform spaces with light, creating functional and aesthetically pleasing environments.
