Why starting in Mesoamerica? This region is a hidden gem with diverse landscapes, cultures, and adventures but many challenges in technology, social development and infrastructure.

Most of this region remains relatively untapped due to the lack of trusted local providers that have a strong digital presence.

We believe this region deserves to be explored in an easy, safe and sustainable way, and we're here to make it happen.

What does Belú mean? "Belú" means "come in" or "be welcome to my house" in Garífuna language. Garífuna language, formerly also called Black Carib language, is an Arawakan language spoken by over 200,000 people in Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua.

We chose this name for our business because of its meaning: The reason is that with our impact model and purpose-driven business, we will strive to make everyone feel welcome and connect with locals in a sustainable & holistic way.

Our Mission: Our mission is to go a step further in every journey by aiming not just to sustain but to actively contribute to the restoration and improvement of the destinations visited.

It's about leaving a positive impact, regenerating ecosystems, supporting local cultures, and empowering local communities to promote social development and improve quality of life through travel.
