Over Be Your Own Robot

With the smartphones in our pockets people have turned into semi-digital beings. We have become entities in in a hybrid universe in which online, offline, virtual and physical realities have merged. But the influence of digital technology on our daily life will even increase radically once we start wearing AR devices. We'll end up in a radical new era when these devices are going to observe what we do and see, in order to provide us with the most relevant information and guidance. Still, this development is in its infancy. Existing augmented reality examples are often straightforward telepresence or helper apps for office or industry workers. But how will these devices enhance our own personal life? We don't know yet. Big Tech doesn't know yet. But they're not sitting still. And neither should we. This research initiative is aimed at finding out about our needs, wishes and objections.

Being in time with an analysis of what we want and under which conditions, we can let the AR glasses land in our society while being a well informed stakeholder.
