Over Avans Masters of Arts

Two MA programmes in Visual Cultures with different progressive pathways for practice-led research in art and design. The Masters of Arts at Avans University of Applied Sciences currently hosts the two-year programme MA in Fine Art and Design and the top programme MA in Animation.

Through arts, creativity and innovation, we foster individual creative potential. Through dialogue and debate we build a vibrant sense of community. We develop knowledge frameworks to help us understand our entanglement with the world around us.

Avans University of Applied Sciences is currently expanding its Professional Masters portfolio, together with the four Centres of Expertise (CoE). The aim is to build a knowledge institute with a strong, interdisciplinary, cross-sectoral research community where art and science meet in first, second and third cycle education. A perfect fit for our current programmes and students to explore artistic practice for the world of tomorrow.
