Aqua-Terra Nova is a research and consultancy firm in the fields of water, ecology, environment and urban planning. We have been operating since 1996 with a small group of specialists. We are strongly rooted in the centre of the world’s most intensively covered horticulture area. The company has a strong connection to water, horticulture and its technology. Our clients range from small private greenhouse companies to water boards and the national government. Many of our projects are developed through Public-Private-Partnerships in which we have proven our strong process and technological skills. We are the ‘architects’ of (waste) water management projects. OUR STRATEGIC COOPERATION AND OUR EFFORTS TO INNOVATE HAVE BEEN HONOURED WITH THE NOMINATION FOR THE HERMAN WIJFFELS INNOVATION AWARD: Moor Filter Technologies and Aqua-Terra Nova are proud to announce that the cooperation between two (Westland) companies has led to a nomination for the prestigious Herman Wijffels Innovation Award in the category Food & Agri. The companies owe this nomination to the development of the Triton. The Triton is a bioreactor that returns healthy soil to the irrigation system of horticultural companies. It is a biological purification technique which ensures that the water composition is regulated in a natural way. The result is a more resilient and healthier crop, that is more resistant to (root) diseases. As a result, returns can be achieved of up to 5%.
