We develop and produce environmental friendly protective coatings for horizontal and vertical construction surfaces, that retain the visual appearance and physical properties of building materials. These systems protect the surfaces of many diverse commercial-, civil engineering- and infra-structure projects, but also objects of art and heritage. Our impregnations are used to waterproof and protect a diverse variety of porous and non-porous materials used in construction. This group of products consists of a water-based solution that can protect surfaces from damage caused by unwanted pollution that meets the most stringent VOC regulations. This impregnation can help reduce the cost and frequency of cleaning. Long term surface protection is achieved after one single application. Its non film-forming characteristics penetrate even the smallest pores without modifying the optical appearance of the substrate. Dirt, graffiti, chewing gum and soot, on surfaces protected with this system, can be removed using hot water pressure, making it the ideal solution where economic maintenance cleaning is desired. In some cases a mild detergent might be used. Our sacrificial and BioBased anti graffiti surface treatment allows for the safe, effective and economical removal of most types of graffiti, saving surfaces from costly traditional methods of graffiti removal such as chemical stripping, abrading or scarifying. Once graffiti has been removed, this coating can be economically reapplied and avoids high cost of restoration and re-painting surfaces.
