Welcome to Amsterdam School of International Business (AMSIB)

AMSIB, part of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and located within the Faculty of Economics and Management, offers English-taught degrees including the Bachelor of International Business and the Master of Global Sustainable Business Management. Welcoming students from around the world, the school prepares future professionals for an ever-changing global business landscape by combining applied knowledge, entrepreneurial spirit and social responsibility.

Honouring a tradition in business studies that dates back to 1846, our learning environment reflects the multicultural and dynamic character of the Amsterdam metropolitan area, a global hub of commerce, innovation and connectivity. This international setting is supported by a network of more than 160 partner universities offering study-abroad opportunities and collaboration through online learning environments. Together, these elements foster a community that values global awareness, digital fluency and a strong commitment to ethical and sustainable practice. This educational philosophy is further strengthened by the Centre for Applied Research (CAREM) and AMSIB’s professorship in Collaborative Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which together ensure academic depth and contribute to our metropolitan and global impact.

To enrich learning and support future career development, AMSIB works with a wide range of organisations that contribute through case studies, guest lectures and placements. The International Business Advisory Board, which includes companies such as ABN AMRO, IDEXX, General Electric and Philips, provides additional insight and guidance on curriculum development. These collaborations allow companies to engage with emerging talent while giving students the opportunity to apply contemporary knowledge and innovative ideas in real-world situations.
