The Alviscan self-measurement kiosk enables patients to measure their vital signs (e.g. blood pressure, oxygen saturation, weight, etc.) themselves, creating more time for actual care. Patients can take control and become more involved in their own care process. The measured values are stored directly in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). This reduces the administrative burden on healthcare professionals and ensures that measurement results are copied over without errors. Alviscan thus contributes to greater efficiency and reduces dependence on the scarce time of healthcare professionals.

Alviscan can be used in basically any healthcare setting, including outpatient clinics, emergency care, hospitals, primary care, rehabilitation, and pharmacy. It cannot only support in daily routines and triage process but also plays a role in prevention by helping people in tracking their vitals early and regularly.
